The Heritage Lotwara Fort is situated on the bank of pious river Banganga emerged by the arrow of Arjuna to quench the last thirst of Bhisma Pitahmaha of Mahabharat.
This small attractive Garh of Lotwara was the Tajeem Thikana of the Royal Amber State and later Jaipur state belonging to the brave kilanot clan of the Kacchawa which is evident from the reference of Col James Tod in Tod Rajasthan. Khachawari Vanshavali by Prof S. S. Ratnawa. Khastriya Rajvansh by Raghunath Singh Kali Pahadi.
As the name suggest, The King's Room is the most prominent room of the entire palace. Designed in typical Rajputana style, it is built on the top corner to allow a perfect ventilation and natural light. Stained glass windows, dressing corner and royal furniture remind of the great Rajput's eminence. It consist of two interconnected bedrooms and is big enough to keep two families comfortably.
The queen is no less important in a state. In fact she is more lovable. So obviously her room has to be a special one. Our Queen's Room is built in front of King's Room (it has to be) with number of Jharokhas for her to enjoy the fresh air and watch the events and activities happening outside. Each and every small thing in the room is meticulously arranged. Come, stay with us and feel like a queen.
How can the Prince, everyone's apple of eyes have an ordinary room? It has to be the brightest and most illuminated room. It also should have a study desk, dressing corner, best of furniture and all modern facilities to live in super comfort. Do you want to experience it? Padharo Sa..!

It’s a great getaway from daily hustle bustle of city life. It’s a quiet and beautiful lush green village where you can see and hear peacocks as close as possible, they are abundant in nature. There are also a lot other birds and mornings, evenings are filled with chirping. The Homestay is very comfortable with excellent hospitality given by the people. The entire family is very sweet and you will feel like your own home. Highly recommended for 3-4 days of detox from city life.
Dear Lokendra, After we came home safely and rejuvenated, we put our heads to figure out what was the best part of our short and sweet vacation. Was it the ambient village with its breathtaking chirping of myriad birds or it was the heritage value of a 200-year-old property? But to tell you the truth, we have stayed in really beautiful properties and places earlier too. We realised the best part our stay at Lotwara Heritage Homestay was the host, that is you and your graceful mother. Your hospitality and her gentle touch in everything we ate were the things that made us so happy. We will certainly visit you again. Please accept our heartfelt gratitude for hosting us so well. Warms regards
It was my first homestay experience and we all enjoyed the place, ambiance, hospitality. Beautiful spacious rooms with all amenities and delicious food. Looking forward to experience many more such places through them.
Thakur Giriraj Singh and his family were very hospitable and took care of all of us wonderfully. Furthermore, the Lotwara Haveli served as an excellent place for all of us to enjoy. It had all the services and amenities that one would need and was also very comfortable. I had a very pleasant stay and look forward to more such trips.
Heritage 5 star quality accommodation and food. Very reasonably priced. Apnapan of host, no other than Thakur Giriraj Singh of Lotwara and his family is priceless. It lasts forever in our hearts!
